Once you have purchased a crib, there are certain essentials you’ll need to acquire that will help to create a peaceful and safe crib setting for your baby, starting from night one.
Remember not to put ANYTHING else in the crib with your baby for her first year — no blankets, no pillows, no stuffed animals, no anything! After your baby turns one, you can use a non-breathable bumper. Until then, all that you will ever place in the crib is your baby, in her swaddle, with her wedges, and her paci (if she uses one).
We’ve found the following to be your baby’s must-have crib essentials:
2. Breathable Bedding Set [Breathable Bumper, Blanket (use outside of crib), Crib Skirt]
3. Crib Soother
