What does your baby really want this holiday? Here are our favorite presents that we know your baby will love!

1. Toys, of Course!

*Birth-3 Months: Sophie the Giraffe

This award winning toy/teether is somewhat of an anomaly in that for whatever reason, babies seriously love them. And they’re the perfect stocking stuffer!

*4-7 Months: A Ball Popper

Your baby will be totally startled by the popping at first but once he’s used to it, he will be giddy-obsessed by it for the same reason!

*8-12 Months: A Rocking Horse

This is the perfect age for any rocking horse and it doesn’t have to be an actual horse. Buy one that coordinates with the theme of your baby’s nursery (there are so many options out there now)! Your baby will need to be held on it at first but will quickly learn to climb aboard. And it will look too cute under your tree with a big ol’ bow.

2. An Around We Go! Activity Station

Hands down the best activity center around because its cruiser-attachment is perfect for your not-yet-walker! It will give your baby a taste of freedom-of-movement and he will not be able to get enough. Remove the cruising attachment after he starts walking and you still get at least a year’s worth of play out of it.

3. A Jumperoo or a Bouncer Swing

Does your baby have a jumperoo or a bouncer swing yet? If not, make sure Santa brings one this year. This one will give your baby plenty to look at and interact with, plus it can be adjusted higher when he needs more leg room.

4. A New Sound Machine

We also consider the DEX Sound Sleeper a nursery must-have from night one and we run it 24/7! But there are some very cool alternatives on the market too. This Aden & Anais one in particular is amazing because it is a sound machine, room temperature indicator, nightlight, clock and feeding diary, all-in-one.

5. A Star Projector

This is one of those nursery additions that will become very soothing to your baby starting when he’s around six months old. And he’ll love it for at least the next year and half too. This one’s a special “Goodnight Moon” version that we just adore. Definitely put it on your baby’s list — but remember that you can’t put it, or anything plush, in his crib until he’s twelve months old! So, put it on a table or nearby shelf until then. The Twilight Turtle is another classic star projector for baby.

6. Another Crib Soother

As a practical parent, you’ve had a soother in your baby’s crib since night one, so changing it out for a new one will be SUCH a treat for your baby! You can even just add it on to the crib as a second soother…especially if your baby’s now able to start it up on his own. He’ll absolutely love it and, of course, it will continue to support your sleep-training efforts as you turn it on before you leave the nursery.

7. Holiday Footed PJ’s

Baby, it’s cold outside! So bundle up your baby in some holiday footie pajamas. Remember, snaps are the equivalent to receiving a lump of coal, so always, ALWAYS buy zip pj’s! Trust us.

8. A Boxed Set of Books

Keep building your baby’s library because you can never, ever have too many books for him! Stock it with the books you loved and the books you’ll love reading during his nightly Story-time. And when relatives ask what gifts they should get your baby…book sets are the PERFECT answer.

9. Dressy Shoes

We’re not a huge fan of shoes on babies in general because there really isn’t a point until they’re walking. However…it looks a little weird in holiday pictures when your otherwise gussied-up baby is shoe-less. And these options are too cute to pass up. FYI – shoes are a great gift for relatives to purchase for your baby for all occasions because they’re a little pricey and your baby will begin to outgrow them quickly.
