The goals: add starches to your baby’s diet, add a snack time, and introduce the sippy cup. Your baby will be sleeping 12-hour stretches at night, but may still wake up in the middle of the night for a diaper change. Remember, don’t rock or walk around with your baby to try and soothe her back to sleep or she will always require it. You’re teaching your baby how to self-soothe — a skill she will eventually master!
